Renae has over 20 years of experience in mental health and community economic development. Her experience includes working in residential treatment facilities, psychiatric facilities, and intensive care facilities for individuals with disabilities. Her recent experience includes developing workforce education programs. Renae has secured over 20 million in grant funds throughout her career.

Renae holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Limestone Baptist College and a Masters's of Public Administration from the University of Arizona. She plans to attend Prairie View A&M University in the fall of 2022 to obtain her PhD in Clinical Adolescent Psychology.
